Maryville Young players announce summer productions

  • Graves accepting military service nomination nominations

    Congressman Sam Graves is accepting applications from north Missouri students interested in attending U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Military Academy or U.S. Naval Academy.   • Nodaway County holds elections

    A total of 1089 votes were cast in Nodaway County during Tuesday election, according to unofficial results from Nodaway County Clerk’s office. Tye Parsons was reelected to Maryville City Council with 87.31 percent of the vote. Parnell and Ravewood both approved a street maintenance levy. 

  • Missouri Western offering gaming camp

    Missouri Western State University’s Esports program is offering a summer camp for kids interested in gaming, according to News-Press Now. The camp will take place from  May 27th to May 30th and is open to kids 10 to 17. Registration can be found at missouriwestern.edu/esports/griffon-summer-camp/. 

  • New Nodaway County Collector sworn in

    Sally Stiens Duff was sworn in as the Nodaway County Collector Treasurer on April 1 by Associate Circuit Court Judge Robert Rice, according to the Maryville Forum. Duff was elected to the position in the General Election last November.
