Annual Pickering Horse Show set for this weekend

The 87th annual Pickering Horse Show is set for Sept. 20 and 21 at the Pickering Rodeo Arena. Friday’s events include a performance by Carlene Hall and  the Overload Draft Horse Pull. On Saturday there will be poker run and the Horse Show will kick off at 4 p.m. with a stick horse race for youths, a flag race, barrel rac-es, queen contest, pole bending and more.
