North Nodaway Board of Education approved the hiring of Cody Jenkins for the 2025-26 middle school and high school principal at a meeting last month, according to the Nodaway Newsleader. Maryville’s finance director to retire
The city of Maryville announced Finance Director Denise Town will retire in July, according to a press release. Town has served in this role since November 1992. The recruit process to fill the position will start immediately.

St. Joseph fire chief retiring this week
St. Joseph Fire Chief Kenny Cordonnier will retire from his position on April 4 after a 43-year career, according to News-Press Now. He has served as chief since 2021. Assistant Fire Chief Jamie McVicker will serve as acting fire chief during a search for a replacement fire chief.
